New Zion Readies to Remodel Six Area  Schools
 - “This is our chance to be agents of change in our   community through the love of Jesus while providing a   brighter future for our children ” - Pastor Don Keathley

As part of the CityFest Houston Outreach, New Zion is working with some churches on the west side of Houston to provide assistance to the following area elementary schools –

  • Bendwood Elementary
  • Meadow Wood Elementary
  • Nottingham Elementary
  • Rummel Creek Elementary
  • Thornwood Elementary and
  • Wilchester Elementary

Before school starts, these schools are in need of

  • Cleaning and weeding of their flowerbeds and playground areas
  • Applying mulch around playground and garden areas
  • Assistance with school supplies

This community outreach will take place on Saturday August 12 starting at 9.00 am

Pastor Joe Cantu the Outreach Pastor plans a meeting next Saturday August 5th at 9.30 am in the Fellowship Hall to finalize plans and assignments.

All volunteers are encouraged to attend this meeting
