Spanish Service Begins at New Zion

For many years, it has been the heart and vision of New Zion to develop an outreach that will target the growing Hispanic community in the city of Houston.

On June 18 2006, New Zion had it’s first full Spanish Service in the Fellowship Hall under the leadership of Pastors Asdruval and Sonia Brito.

Pastors Brito who has been coming to New Zion for over two years now, originally hail from Venezuela and settled in the Houston area some years ago.

.They have two children and are very excited about the Hispanic Outreach Service of New Zion.

The first service had over 20+ people in attendance. Pastor Brito said “I really believe that God is getting ready to do great things with the Hispanic community on the west side of Houston.”

The services are held every Sunday at 10.45 am in the Fellowship Hall of New Zion Christian Church.

All Spanish speaking people are invited to be a part of this groundbreaking work
